Boasting over 200 vineyards and more than 50 cellar doors, the Mornington Peninsula has been growing in popularity since vineyards began growing in the early 1970s.
With a cool maritime climate and valleys and peaks on the undulating landscape the region creates many award-winning wines. While varieties such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are predominantly grown, other varieties such as Pinot Grigio, Pinot Gris and even Syrah are making an appearance.
The region’s wineries are complemented by classy restaurants and cosy cafes.
The natural beauty of the area includes ridges and peaks with views of bay and ocean beaches, the farms become forests the deeper you get into the region.

Home to 300 vineyards and over 150 cellar doors, the Yarra Valley is renowned for its world-class Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and cool climate Shiraz.
Many current wineries were replanted after a lot of the grazing land returned to vineyards in the 1960s.
The natural beauty of the surrounding areas is enhanced by many restaurants and cafes providing dining experiences that round out a memorable visit.
